 I have not really done any tech work this week. So there's not much for me to say concerning the tech bit of the project. I have however done some more concept art, I've got some different views of the Nolaran Cruiser unit for you this week. I think it came out very good, maybe not quite what I was aiming for when I started, but nothing ever is. Again, its got the ridges for armor, and it also got shield emitters (the gold parts, except for the claw like things on the front sides). On the front its got 2 weapons mounted, they are the claw like looking parts.

Its got a lot of shield emitters on the front as that's where the weapons fire from, and the ship will need the front shield back up ASAP after the weapon is fired. The ship uses a sleek Y-ish shape which is good for ramming other ships, and also allows a good amount of room at the back end for engines and power generators, which are important for any good attack cruiser.

In the back, its got some rear shield emitters, and the engines. The engines are the two openings there, they start at the end of the Y branch on either side of the ship and extend toward the center of the ship. They may not look like they make that ship move to fast, but don't underestimate in. The engines are fairly wide which allows for a good amount of thrust output, that and the Nolaran's advanced propulsion systems give it a pretty good top speed.

All in all, the Nolaran Cruiser is a very effective fleet ship, while it may not have the power of some of the larger Nolaran ships (scenario 1: don't worry, its just a cruiser. Scenario 2: OH NO! A fortress ship....RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!), it makes up for that in its maneuverability and durability. The Nolaran Cruiser is sure to be a key part of the Nolaran fleet and should be regarded as very dangerous.
