The Madoshi are those that work behind the scenes, influencing events on Earth unseen. Although they are seen as villains their efforts are nonetheless with the interests of Earth in mind.

Name: Ayame Mishima

Ayame is the neice of the head of Mishima Heavy Industries, a powerful weapons firm that caught the interest of Section. She is Inner Circle's contact within the organization, allowing its members just as much access to the weapons as Section operatives themselves. However, although Ayame doesn't mind the cloak and dagger, she is always thinking of how she can best help the people that work for her uncle-- or, as she thinks of it, works for her. Everyone believes that one day Ayame will take over the corporation, and for one with such a big heart as Ayame, that may come as no surprise, but times will prove that she will have to earn it in many a trial by fire.

Name: Johan Ritters

A street fighter who seems to have nothing else better to do than pick fights. Although he is a champion in some circles, elsewhere he is better known for his dancing-type style; all of his moves, he claims, are based off the beats and rhythms of song. While many realize that it is particularly easy to beat this sort of freestyle martial art the only true way to exploit it is to discover which song Johan is playing in his mind at the time. Although he loves fighting, unlike Miranda, Johan is not interested in fame, but in having fun.

Name: Kanna Rajura
Type: Dark Templar

A founding member of Inner Circle, Kanna serves as a strategist and tactician as well as administrator. She idolizes the famed Chinese minister Zhuge Liang, who won the hearts of the people he served through his humility and brilliance. Kanna hopes to dupicate such greatness herself, hoping to one day make a difference in the world. She is a successor of Rajura Whirling Spear style, and uses that familial fighting style combined with traps and pressure points, making her a difficult opponent.

Name: Miranda Kusao
Type: Zealot

Allegience: The Madoshi
This hot-headed martial artist fights for glory and fame; her ultimate goal is to become a martial arts idol. She feels compelled to challenge others who seem strong in order to prove that she is the strongest, but many capable opponents refuse her challenges due to her immaturity and her take on the art. Her eyes are naturally red, burning like an ember.

Name: Mizuki Shimozuki
Type: High Templar

Allegience: The Madoshi
Mizuki is the high priestess who trains and takes care of Shizuka. Acting as an older sister Mizuki takes her role seriously, but understands the importance of allowing Shizuka to wander around helping people on her own. Previously she was a demon hunter herself, but she decided her duties as a priestess were more important, and it would allow Shizuka to continue pursuing her own freedoms as a hunter.

The master of Inner Circle, a freelance mercenary organization consisting of hired guns and cyber hackers. As one of the three founding members Kagami is privilaged with having contacts in a great deal many black-ops or shady operations around the world while maintaining both neutrality and autonomity. He loves his step-sister Chika as if she were his biological sister, and has a crush on Shizuka, but cannot admit it to himself. His diabolical nature is hidden under a layer of geekiness when it comes to mecha.

Name: Shizuka Minazuki
Type: Ghost

Allegience: The Madoshi
A demon hunter mysteriously bonded to the cursed ghost dragon Deathclaw, an ancient god banished from the gods' realm for high crimes. Despite being possessed Shizuka remains the dominant force in her body, and continues to carry out her services as both a demon hunter and priestess, although many argue her duties as a priestess are unorthodoxed, if not neglected entirely. She prefers to work alone, but enjoys the company of friends and family. Her behavior suggests she is a cruel person, but in fact her actions point out her heart is dedicated to helping others. Shizuka has a crush on Shion, but does not want to admit that she could possibly fall in love.

Name: Sypha Blade

A Chinese woman who appears in her early thirties, but is in fact an ancient sorcerer well over 2,000-years old. A celestial dragon who travels in the guise of a human, Sypha was banished from the Celestial Court in order to take blame for a miscalculation on the part of her peers. Desiring revenge against the court she once served without question she seeks to increase her power and make allies out of disgruntled members of all societies, man or demon. She plans to one day assault the Celestial Palace with her army of allied demons, promising to bring reform to the realm of the gods.

Name: 'Ziel' Kagura
Type: Firebat
Weapon: Wind Fan
Allegience: The Madoshi
The third member of Inner Circle, Rowan 'Ziel' Kagura is often considered the group's personal assassin, although he doesn't really kill anybody. He is a descendant of a family that wed a wind demon over three centuries ago, and therefore inherited the ability to manipulate the winds, using a simple folding fan as a foci. Cold and aloof, Ziel is a loner, and only cares for the company of few.
